Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mildred Neuenschwander-She has past on from this life of pain and entered into the eternal joy of Christ Jesus.

Mildred Neuenschwander, 84, a resident of Forest, Virginia, and a former Berne resident, died at 4:40 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2006 at her home. She was born on June 5, 1921, in Adams County, to Jacob and Ona (Moser) Stucky. She was married on November 7, 1952 to Rev. Art Neuenschwander. He survives. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10:00 a.m. service on Thursday, April 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evangelical Mennonite Church Cemetery.

As I write this I sit in a room at the Black Bear Inn. I do not remember the last time I was in Indiana and I don't know if I will be here again, but I do know why I am here now. Grandma Millie was one of the sweetest women to ever grace the stage of my life. Her smile and joy will forever remain tucked away in my heart. I must tell you that I am not alone in my assessment of her sweetness. These are not sugar coated memories, but substantiated truth echoed by those who came to bid her farewell.

I have been truly blessed to grow up with a sweet little grandma and she is so missed. -I love you grandma.

This Baby Rocks!
Zoe has begun chanting Da Da over and over again. Now her mom claims that this is just baby ramblings, but take it from one who knows a lot about rambling! Zoe is talking to her daddy! I can tell from these early chants that God has chosen to gift Zoe with mad speech skills. Though there maybe some debate as to which of her parents is the better speaker. There is no such debate as to where Zoe must have loud mouth from.

Da Da!!
I get the same look on my face when I yell.
